Two suspects have been detained in Kyrgyzstan for preparation of the forced seizure of power in the country

Almaty. March 25. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security has detained opposition members Bektur Asanov and Kubanychbek Kadyrov suspected of preparation to seize power in the country, KyrTAG informs.

“On March 24 in the course of criminal case №082-16-0054 citizens KK and BA have been brought to the State Committee for National Security for the relevant investigative and operational activities,” – the agency reported with reference to the public relations and mass media department of the State Committee for National Security.

With this it is also explained the detainees are suspected of plotting to seize power in the country.

“They are suspected of planning actions aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation in the country followed by the implementation of a conspiracy to seize power by violent means, which fall under the article 27 and article 295 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic,” – a statement said.

It is reported that investigative activities have been sanctioned by the court and the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the investigative actions are carried out at present.
