Two Tajik drug smugglers killed on the border with Afghanistan

Almaty. January 28. Silkroadnews - Two drug smugglers, residents of Farhor district of Khatlon region are killed on the border with Afghanistan, reported the Tajik media.
According to information, the incident occurred in the area of responsibility of the frontier military unit №4 2133 Main Department of Border Troops of the State Committee of National Security of Tajikistan.
Deputy Head Anvarsho Rakhimov said the perpetrators did not subject to the requirement of border guards and Afghans opened fire. As a result, two offenders were neutralized.
According to the chairman of the Farhhor district, Rano Rahimzoda, neutralized violators were 22 and 26-year resident of the village Darkad.
The border between the Tajik regions Hamadoni and Farhor with Afghanistan is 96.5 km. Farkhor area of Tajikistan is bordered by the counties Hodge Bakhouddin Yangikala Takhar Province of Afghanistan.
