U.S. to resume issuing visas to citizens of six countries after a court decision

Almaty. October 18. Silkroadnews - After the court decision the U.S. will resume issuing visas to nationals of six countries, the Kazakh Telegraph Agency (KazTAG) reports with reference to the newspaper Kommersant.
As reported on Wednesday, after the court of Hawaii blocked the ban imposed by the U.S. President Donald Trump on issuing visas to citizens of several countries, the U.S. State Department will resume issuing of visas to these countries’ nationals, the department’s officials said.
Thus, the court temporarily blocked enforcement of the ban on entry affecting citizens of Iran, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Somalia and Chad. With this the court did not cancel the ban for some citizens of Venezuela and all citizens of the DPRK.
Earlier, the U.S. president extended the list of countries to be covered by travel ban. In January, Donald Trump signed an immigration decree providing for a 90-day ban on visitors from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. The President’s decision caused numerous protests.
