Ukrainian company jointly with the KMG will begin the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Kazakhstan

Astana. December 19. Silkroadnews - Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings together with JSC "NC "KazMunaiGas" (KMG) will start the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The agreement stipulates that Burisma Holdings together with KMG will cycle seismic and drilling operations for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons, as well as explore the possibility of building infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan.
Representatives of Burisma Holdings briefed the prime minister with their applicable new American technology and modern approaches in the management of seismic and drilling operations.
Burisma Holdings is one of the largest independent gas producers in Ukraine. The share of Burisma Holdings in the market among private gas producers of the country is 25%. The company owns 20 licenses for the production of hydrocarbons in the main gas and oil basins of Ukraine. In January-October, total natural gas production was 560 million cubic meters, it is 58% more than in the same period in 2013. The entire volume of production is sold on the domestic market of Ukraine.
JSC "NC "KazMunaiGas" - Kazakhstan's national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state's interests in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. 100% of the shares owned by KMG JSC "National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna".
