UN needs $80 million for demining Afghanistan

Almaty. February 20. Silkroadnews - UN requires $80 million for demining Afghanistan, reports Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
"The UN has published a review of "Mine Action Projects 2015", according to which the total amount of fundin,g required to demining, amounts to 296 million US dollars, of which at the moment obtained only 20%", - said in a statement.
Review of 2015 includes projects related to the control of arms and ammunition, data collection and monitoring, capacity building and support for socio-economic development.
