UN to hold a ministerial conference on Afghanistan in Geneva

Beijing. June 27. Silkroadnews - The UN will hold a ministerial conference on Afghanistan in Geneva on November 28, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports referring to the statement by Tadamichi Yamamoto, the special representative of the UN Secretary-General.
Yamamoto noted, during the conference the participants will review how far Afghanistan has succeeded in reaching independence, as well as discuss the issues on the agenda, including the difficulties the country runs into the field of security.
As expected, Afghanistan will provide information on its achievements in the field of reform and present plans to overcome the problems existing, the UN representative noted.
