Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan took part in China forum of journalistic organizations

Almaty. October 16. Silkroadnews - The Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan took part in China forum of journalistic organizations, the agency reports.
Today, Beijing hosts a forum of journalistic organizations “One Belt, One Road” with participation of representatives of 27 countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Senegal, Mexico and others.
“One Belt, One Road” initiative suggested by President Xi Jinping in 2013 provides for strengthening the region’s states cooperation in various fields, including the one of the international journalism. The forum is designed to ensure joint work on the basis of peaceful cooperation, openness and mutual benefit, through exchanges, seminars, trainings, reporter activities, and journalists awards.
The executive secretary of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Bayan Ramazanova, representing our country at the forum, noted the importance of the event held on the eve of the 19th CPC Congress.
Speaking at the forum she said about close ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and introduced seven news agencies, including Silkroadnews, set by the chairman of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan Seytkazy Matayev.
Vice Chairman of the All-China Journalists Association expressed the wish to see Seytkazy Matayev among the honorable guests of the forum leading the Kazakhstani delegation next year.
The participants thanked the forum facilitators for the warm welcome and interesting initiatives. Chairman of the All-China Association of Journalists, in turn, said the forum is designed to be not a Chinese solo, but a friendly chorus of all participating countries.
