Almaty. October 13. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyzstan may purchase in Kazakhstan up to 1 billion kWh of electricity, said KyrTAG with reference to the press service of JSC "Electric Power Plants".
"On October 10-14, 2014 Astana will host a meeting of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council, where will be made the decision on the possibility of supplying electricity to Kyrgyzstan in the amount up to 500 thousand KWh and the additional purchase of up to 1 billion kWh", - said in a message.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan will supply to Kyrgyzstan 500 million kWh of electricity in exchange for water, resulting in the growing season. It is assumed that that the main part of the electricity will be supplied in February-April 2015.
