Up to 15 million tons by 2020 to increase freight transport by rail between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran

Astana. On October 9. Silkroadnews - Up to 15 million tons by 2020 will increase the volume of transportation of goods by rail between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran, reports KazTAG citing Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Magtymguly Akmyradov.
Volume of freight between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to 1.4 million tonnes, it increased compared to the same period last year by 42%. More than half of the volume of traffic fell on the railway.
Recall that in 2013 took docking of Kazakh and Turkmen areas Uzen-Bereket.
Full opening of this railway is planned by the end of this year.
