US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan urged not to forget its WTO obligations, after joining the CU
Almaty. November 5. Silkroadnews - US Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Pamela Spartlen urged Kyrgyzstan not to forget its WTO obligations, after joining the Customs Union, reports KyrTAG.
"Kyrgyzstan is the first country in Central Asia, which became a member of the World Trade Organization. USA - for free trade, commercial and economic ties should expand. As a sovereign state, Kyrgyzstan may enter into any alliance and association. However, should not be violated obligations of membership of the WTO ", - said the ambassador, speaking to students of the Diplomatic Academy on Wednesday.
Note that earlier P.Spratlen in her review article expressed concerns about the growing influence of Russia in Kyrgyzstan. She expressed doubt that in the alliance with Russia, Kyrgyzstan will maintain its "democratic path".
