US approved Airbus passenger aircraft export to Iran

Almaty. September 22. Silkroadnews – Airbus got the first US’s approval on passenger aircraft supply to Iran, IrTAG writes.
«Airbus has requested two licenses, the first of which was provided last night”, statement said on Wednesday.
The second permission is expected to be issued “in the coming weeks”.
As foreign media reported, the US Treasury has already issued two licenses allowing 17 Airbus aircraft export to Iran.
In late January, the European corporation and Iran signed a protocol of intent regarding passenger aircraft supply. This deal, however, was to receive the US approval as the aircraft in case includes a number of components manufactured by the US companies.
