US Energy Department predicts the average price of Brent crude oil in 2015 at $83 per barrel
Almaty. November 13. Silkroadnews - Energy Information Administration (EIA) US Department of Energy predicts the average price of Brent crude oil in 2015 at $83.42 per barrel, reported Russian media.
According to the forecast, published on the website of the department, in January, the price of oil will be above $83 per barrel, then the price will drop down to $81 in May. In the second half of 2015 the price will begin to rise and by December price will reach $87 per barrel.
In November and December of this year, the Energy Information Administration predicts the price of oil at $83 a barrel.
EIA explan the reduced of prices in 2014 due to the weakening of the global economy, as well as a decrease in consumer demand, the return of oil production in Libya, whose economy has been destroyed, as well as the growth of oil production in the United States.
