US policy to entail problems for other countries: speaker of Iranian parliament

Almaty. December 26. Silkroadnews - The U.S. policy will entail problems for other countries, the speaker of the Iranian parliament Ali Larijani says, the Iranian Telegraph Agency (IrTAG) reports with reference to Tasnim News Agency.
“Iran’s parliament speaker lambasted the US national security strategy for containing flaws, accusations and miscalculations, saying Washington’s international policies involve trouble for other countries,” the report said.
“Washington believes in political and economic infiltration into other nations, and seeks to implement its troublemaking strategy in the world,” Larijani said, condemning the U.S. National Security Strategy the White House recently released.
Larijani added, in the document the U.S. take great merit to themselves in destroying the ISIL in Syria and Iraq, hijacking the achievements by Iran, Russia and Turkey.
The U.S. National Security Strategy, signed by Donald Trump in December 2017, reads: “We crushed … (ISIS) terrorists on the battlefields of Syria and Iraq, and will continue to pursue them until they are destroyed.”
Meanwhile, the world community affirms the defeat of the IS in Syria and Iraq was the result of coordinated actions of Tehran, Moscow, Ankara and Damascus.
Larijani also condemned the U.S. strategy for misconceptions about Russia and China.
In the U.S. National Security Strategy, China and Russia are accused of challenging American interests and trying to undermine the U.S. security and prosperity.
“They (China and Russia) are determined to make economies less free and less fair, to grow their militaries, and to control information and data to repress their societies and expand their influence,” the document says.
Larijani also stressed, the U.S. accuse other countries of trying to obtain weapons of mass destruction (WMD), while they themselves own the biggest number of WMDs and pretend to care about banning such weapons.
