Almaty. April 22. Silkroadnews – In New York the US Secretary of State John Kerry will discuss with the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif cancellation of the US sanctions in the framework of the obligations under agreement on the atom, the announcement was made by the spokesperson for the United States Department of State John Kirby at the regular briefing, IrTAG reports.

“I am confident they will proceed with negotiating the removal of the US sanctions, including the degree of the US and foreign banks and financial institutions involvement in the process,” he said.

With this, J. Kirby emphasized Iran “continues to carry out its obligations under the nuclear deal”.

As it is noted in the article, despite the beginning of the JCPOA realization, Tehran has not yet gained access to its assets frozen in the US banks and run into problems using country’s dollar accounts in the foreign banks. The US unilateral sanctions against Iran imposed due to Iran’s missile program and not covered by the JCPOA deter the other states’ business structures on the resumption of relations with Iran.
