Uzbek banks are obliged to check the status of liquidity

Almaty. August 24. Silkroadnews - Uzbek banks are obliged to check the status of liquidity through stress testing, transmits Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
Such an obligation imposed on them by the decision of the Central Bank. It has approved the Regulation on the requirements to the liquidity management of commercial banks.
The new provision stipulates that the banks at least once a quarter should check the status of their liquidity through stress testing. According to the results, the banks need to adjust the risk management strategy and to develop plans to provide additional funds in unexpected stressful situations. Banks are required to submit to the Central Bank information on decisions taken by the Board on the results of stress testing, and plans for unexpected financing.
