Uzbek border guards detained 20 citizens of Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. November 11. Silkroadnews - Uzbek border guards detained 20 citizens of Kyrgyzstan during the illegal crossing of one of the sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border, reports KazTAG citing the press service of the Committee for State Border Protection of National Security Service of Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
"During the arrest, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan - 28-year-old resident of the village Markaz Kadamjai district of Batken region A. Muyiddinov while driving one of the cars, hit a frontier of Uzbekistan and as a result was wounded by shot" - indicates the report. The wounded intruder was taken to hospital in the Uzbek village Vuadil.
According to the press service, in the detained vehicles was found more than 4 tons of meat products. On this fact the law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan prosecuted a criminal case.
"Despite the agreements reached with the Kyrgyz side to ban stopping vehicles and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on a specified section of the road, the citizens of Kyrgyzstan systematically violate the agreement, for the purpose of smuggling of various inventory items. This leads to negative consequences and negative impact on the strengthening of friendly relations between the border agencies of the parties", - the report indicates.
