Tashkent. June 3. Silkroadnews – Uzbek gold is an integral part of “Apple’s” supply chain, as UzTAG reports quoting US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) report.
The report states that Apple Inc. signed two subsequent contracts with 2 big enterprises of Uzbekistan back in 2013. These are Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex as well as Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine. They supply gold that is used (among other things) for electrical wire contacts.
