Almaty. January 17. Silkroadnews – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev assigned Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov to develop specific proposals to revise the organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance until late February, UzTAG writes.

The head of the state has noted, the large majority of the government’s orders are being implemented by the employees of Ministry of Finance with failure to meet the deadlines set, it is also not unusual when the quality of work leaves something to be desired. With this the ministry’s employees still have a sense of grandeur about themselves, he said.

“Why should the heads of other departments, instead of taking competent advice to address the specific problems of the state, continuously deal with bureaucracy and red tape, as well as with arrogance and whims of individual deputy ministers? Why should the Deputy Prime Minister or a member of the government sit waiting for hours in the parlor?”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

The president added, “you cannot settle with getting “victorious” reports and memoranda prepared by someone staying far from the true problems but mistaking the wish for the reality”.
