Uzbek President will visit China on an official visit

Almaty. August 13. Silkroadnews - President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on August 19-20 will visit China on an official visit, said Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
Information was obtained at the briefing from Monister of Foreign Affairs spokesman Qin Gang. However, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry had no comment on this information.
During the first five months of this year, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and China decreased by 18.5% and amounted to about $2.2 billion. China remains one of the major foreign partners of Uzbekistan. Here operate 482 ventures with Chinese investments, 78 of them with 100% Chinese capital.
