Uzbekistan and Afghanistan to launch a direct flight Kabul-Tashkent

Almaty. November 28. Silkroadnews - For the first time in the history of their relations Uzbekistan and Afghanistan launch a direct flight, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
“The first aircraft from Afghanistan will land at the Tashkent International Airport on Wednesday, November 29. Flights from Kabul will be carried out by the Afghan air carrier Kam Air under a code-sharing agreement. The Uzbek side obtained the right to sell tickets under its own code,” Uzbekistan Airways says.
To remind, in January-October 2017, trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $429 million. In addition, earlier this year in Kabul, representatives of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan signed “a road map” to grow trade turnover up to $1.5 billion.
