Uzbekistan and China will jointly produce drilling rigs

Almaty. July 23. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and China the next year plan to start production of rigs for drilling of exploration wells, reported UzTAG.
"The agreement on this was signed during the visit of President Islam Karimov to China in August last year. In early 2015 representatives of the State Geology Committee held a meeting with the Chinese side and prepared basic founding documents. At the end of March, the parties have formed an initial contribution to the authorized capital of the joint venture, and in April created a new company - a joint venture "Hanjin DNB Equipments", - said a source in the State Committee for Geology.
In the first three years of operation will be issued more than 20 such rigs. The level of localization of production in 2019 is projected to reach 40%.
