Uzbekistan and Iran plan to bring trade to $1 billion
Almaty. February 10. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and Iran in the coming years plan to bring the annual bilateral trade to $1 billion, reports the Telegraph Agency of Uzbekistan (UzTAG).
"At the end of 2014 the trade turnover between the countries amounted to $250 million. This figure does not satisfy any of the parties as potential opportunities available in the two countries are much higher than the current level. Therefore, we are planning in the coming years to bring it to $1 billion",- said the Iranian ambassador to Uzbekistan Ali Mardon Farda during a press conference in Tashkent.
