Uzbekistan and Latvia plan to create a Business Council

Almaty. November 16. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and Latvia plan to create a bilateral Business Council, said the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
"The establishment of this organization was considered at a meeting of the Uzbek-Latvian intergovernmental commission held the other day in the capital. The parties expect that the creation of the Council will strengthen the cooperation of business circles to promote promising business projects, as well as an influence on the increase in mutual trade",- says the publication.
In the first 9 months of 2015 the trade turnover between Latvia and Uzbekistan fell nearly by 20% to $134.1 million. Today in Uzbekistan there are 32 companies with participation of the Latvian capital.
