Uzbekistan and Russia have agreed on military-technical cooperation
Almaty. November 30. Silkroadnews – Uzbekistan and Russia signed agreement on military-technical cooperation, UzTAG writes.
Uzbek Minister of Defense Kabul Berdiev and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu have signed agreement on developing military-technical cooperation (MTC) and plan of bilateral cooperation between the defense ministries for 2017.
The documents were signed after the talks of two countries’ defense ministers in Moscow.
The documents provide for boosting practical cooperation between the defense ministries of two countries. In particular, it provides for joint measures to ensure military security, strengthening of Uzbekistan’s war-fighting capability with combat potential of modern Russian arms and military equipment up to 2020, as well as training of military personnel.
