Uzbekistan and South Korea discussed the inter-parliamentary cooperation issues
Almaty. February 4. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea have discussed the issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG) informs.
“The meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Korea, headed by the General Secretary of the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) and the National Electoral Commission of the Republic of Korea Kim young-Hee was hold on February 3, 2016, at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan,” – the statement said.
During the meeting the sides exchanged views on issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two states.
As noted, the South Korean delegation was informed on the innovations in the legislation of Uzbekistan, including the amendments and changes to the Constitution of the separation of powers between the president, parliament, government and judiciary.
Earlier it was reported that within the framework of the visit to Uzbekistan the delegation of the Republic of Korea held a meeting at the Central Election Commission resulted in a memorandum on cooperation signed between the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan and the National Electoral Commission of the Republic of Korea.
