Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will discuss lowering of the tariff factors for transit

Almaty. June 24. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are studying the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of transit of rail freight, reported the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
"For our countries, an important area of ​​cooperation is cooperation in the field of transport. Therefore, to encourage the increase in volumes of rail freight, the railway administrations of the two countries should consider the application of reciprocal of tariff-lowering coefficients for the transit of goods through the territory of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan",- said Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov, speaking at the third meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade economic cooperation.
Recall that yesterday Tashkent hosted the third meeting of the Uzbek-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation.
