Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom will work together to fight transnational crime

Almaty. August 24. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom are preparing to sign a memorandum on cooperation in combating transnational crime, told journalists on Monday the British Ambassador George Edgar, completing his diplomatic mission in Tashkent.
According to him, in recent years, the parties have reached significant progress in bilateral cooperation.
The Ambassador stressed that Uzbekistan plays an important role in ensuring peace and stability in Central Asia, making a big contribution to the socio-economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The diplomat also noted the intensification of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
