Uzbekistan by August 1, will developed a code of corporate governance

Almaty. April 27. Silkroadnews - Uzbek President Islam Karimov ordered before August 1, 2015 to develop a Code of Corporate Governance, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Development of the documents will be performed by the Commission on enhancing the effectiveness of joint-stock companies and improve the corporate governance system in conjunction with other relevant ministries and departments", - says the publication.
As noted, the Code is planned to provide recommendations for implementing best practices in corporate governance, including the definition of development strategies and objectives for the long term, the internal control system and mechanisms for effective interaction with the executive body of shareholders and investors.
Also, the document will approve the typical organizational structure of joint-stock companies, given the scale, industry-specific and business lines, indicated by the requirement to publish their information on the basis of international auditing standards and financial reporting.
