Uzbekistan created the world scientific society to study the cultural heritage
Almaty. May 18. Silkroadnews – The International Scientific Congress “Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage – the way to dialogue between peoples and countries” adopted a resolution on creation of a worldwide scientific society to study, preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
Orientalists, archeologists, historians, art historians, collectors, representatives of the media sphere from different countries of the world can become the members of this society. The society will carry out international events – exhibitions, presentations and cultural forums in museums and scientific centers that taking care of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage.
The resolution also states about the need to provide researchers with access to cultural heritage sites.
“A lack of complete information about museum items and digital catalogs hampers wider study and further popularization of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage”, the resolution says.
