Uzbekistan disclosed the activities of criminal drug group consisting of 18 people

Almaty. November 11. Silkroadnews - Law enforcement authorities of Uzbekistan detected an organized crime group (OCG), composed of 18 people, which covered the illicit proliferation and trafficking of narcotic drugs, informs KazTAG quoting a representative of the Interior Ministry.
"The case is assigned to the judicial authorities, the investigation established 11 episodes related to the activity of this drug group", - he said on Tuesday.
According to him, the OCG smuggled drugs from Tajikistan to Uzbekistan, they were detained in the course of operational activities.
Through the territory of Uzbekistan lays the so-called "northern route" - the world's largest drug trafficking route for the supply of opium from Afghanistan to Russia and then to Europe, along which annually forwarded up to 100 tons of hard drugs.
