Uzbekistan from 1st August will lower markup for medicines in the wholesale and retail trade networks

Almaty. June 12. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan develops a draft law aimed at reducing the limiting trade margins on medicines and medical devices sold through wholesale and retail outlets, reported the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
"It is proposed from August 1, 2015 to establish a new order, according to which the sale of medicines and medical devices will be carried out with allowance for the wholesale trade - at a rate of no more than 10% of the base cost, and for retailers - not more than 20% purchase price", - stated in the draft law.
To date, the sale is at a premium of 20% for wholesalers and 25% - for retailers.
