Uzbekistan has appointed a new prime minister

Almaty. December 14. Silkroadnews – Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov has been approved for the position of the Prime Minister, Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) informs.

It is reported that President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented to the parliament the candidacy of Abdulla Aripov, Deputy Prime Minister.

In their turn, members of the upper and lower houses of parliament approved the candidacy of Abdulla Aripov for the post of the prime minister.

Abdulla Aripov presented the short and long terms’ action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Since September 2016 A. Aripov is a Deputy Prime Minister, head of department on the affairs of youth policy, culture, information systems and telecommunications.
