Uzbekistan has banned running of several types of wagons other than its own

Almaty. February 2. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan banned running of covered trucks, refrigerator vans, and thermos-trucks of all the railway administrations, except for those owned by the country, the newspaper “Kommersant” writes.  
Staring from today “Ozbekiston Temir Yollari” (“Uzbekistan Railways”) introduces the Convention’s ban on the covered trucks, refrigerator vans, and thermos-trucks except for the trucks under supervision of the railway administration of Uzbekistan. The ban is introduced for an unlimited period of time - until canceled,” – JSC “Russian Railways” reports with the reference to notification by the Directorate of Railway Transport Council of CIS dated January 28, 2016.
Last year at the same time, Uzbekistan introduced the Convention’s prohibition on the receipt and transmission of empty covered trucks, grain wagons, and flat wagons running from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, except for those under supervision of “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” (KTZ).
The countries’ Railway Administrations are eligible to impose the Convention’s ban which is then treated by the Railway Transport Council of CIS without analyzing the reasons for its introduction.
