Almaty. June 10. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan has changed the instructions for the export of foreign currency, reported the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
The changes affected the issuance by Central Bank (CB) permits to individuals resident in the export of foreign currency in cash. The amount of the limit is not changed. In order to take outside the country more than $5 thousand, individuals is required to obtain permission of the Central Bank.
Consideration of applications of individual are carried out not later than in 10 days from the date of receipt of the application.
Resolution is issued in two copies, one of which is issued to an individual, the second to the Central Bank. Resolution is considered valid for three months from the date of issue.
In case of refusal to issue a permit, the Central Bank shall notify in writing.
However, non-residents may export cash foreign currency up to the amount imported into the Republic in accordance with the customs declaration.
