Uzbekistan has developed environmental regional programs for 2015

Almaty. March 27. Silkroadnews - State Committee for Nature Protection of Uzbekistan has developed 14 regional programs for environmental protection, rational use and reproduction of natural and biological resources for 2015, reports Trend.
"The regional programs approved by the Government, include about 700 activities to be carried out, in addition to the existing general five-year program of action for the protection of the environment", - reported the press service of the State Committee.
In particular, planned measures to improve the capacity of the fishing industry in Uzbekistan, where the volume of production this year will reach 47.3 thousand tons. In the areas close to natural water bodies will be built hatcheries, in the regions of Uzbekistan will be found processing plants of fish products, which will create new jobs, meet the demand and needs of the population in food.
Each forestry of the country plans to create two bee farm to increase honey production.
In order to preserve the biodiversity of medicinal plants in Uzbekistan will be set up small and joint ventures for the collection and storage of seeds and the production of export-oriented products.
Also, measures will be taken to combat plant pests, protection of ornamental plants in the cities, regional centers, and prone to disease infected trees in forestry, natural parks, nature reserves. In regions of the country will be created new nurseries for wild animals in an area of ​​25-30 hectares.
The program is planned to develop cooperation in the field of environmental protection with international financial institutions, attracting grant, loan funds in the amount of $250 million for the implementation of 110 projects involving the re-enterprises, including ginning plants in accordance with the environmental requirements and standards .
Particular emphasis will be placed on strengthening state environmental control, in which planned inventory of more than 160,000 companies and organizations that have an impact on the environment. Companies that pollute natural objects will be attracted to the compensation payments, environmental regulation and certification in the prescribed manner.
