Uzbekistan has prepared development strategy on five priority areas through 2021
Almaty. January 19. Silkroadnews – Uzbekistan has designed a strategy for action in five priority areas of development over 2017-2021, Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) writes.
“The strategy provides for the rule of law and further reform of the judicial system, improving citizens’ access to justice, crime counteraction and crime prevention systems, full realization of the principle of adversarial nature of the judicial process, improving the provision of legal aid and legal services”, text says.
Among the other important areas there are development and liberalization of the economy, further strengthening of the macroeconomic stability and preservation of economic growth, modernization and active diversification of the leading sectors, radical reform of the financial and banking sector, all-round protection of private property and entrepreneurship, expansion of foreign economic relations, active attraction of foreign investments, development of tourism, structural reforms in agriculture.
The publication says to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy it is also proposed to set up a special national committee.
