Uzbekistan has simplified customs procedures for truckers

Almaty. November 10. Silkroadnews - The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a resolution, according to which for goods transported by road, simplified some customs procedures, reports UzTAG.
"From December 1, will be introduced a system of prior electronic notification of products, which are planned to enter the customs territory of Uzbekistan by road", - said in a statement.
Earlier at the border customs posts, carriers were forced to issue a book of control of delivery of goods, "that took a lot of time".
"Now, prior noticing to the border post, the carrier can receive expedited freight document and go to the customs office of destination for the customs clearance of goods", - the report says.
This measure will allow businesses to efficiently carry out customs procedures, which have a positive impact on trade and the business climate in general.
