Uzbekistan in 2015 will raise the minimum prices for alcohol

Almaty. December 16. Silkroadnews - From January 1, 2015 Uzbekistan will raise the minimum prices for alcohol products, reports Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) with reference to the joint resolution of the Ministry of Finance and State Tax Committee.
In accordance with the decision, from 1 January 2015, the minimum wholesale selling price of wine producers will increase from 3.3 thousand to 3.8 thousand Soums per liter, the minimum retail price - from 4 thousand to 4.6 thousand Soums.
However, the minimum wholesale price of 1 liter of brandy will be increased from 9.4 thousand to 11.1 thous Soums, and the minimum retail price - from 11.4 thousand to 13.4 thousand Soums.
The price of 1 liter of vodka and other alcoholic beverages will increase from 7.8 thousand to 9 thousand Soums, and the minimum retail price to 10.9 thousand Soums.
Minimum prices for beer remained unchanged.
