Uzbekistan intercepted nearly 92 kilograms of heroin and opium from Tajikistan to Russia

Tashkent. July 4. Silkroadnews - Employees of the National Security Service (NSS) of Uzbekistan have blocked the supply of 91.5 kg of drugs that were shipped by rail from Tajikistan to Russia, reports KazTAG.
"During the search of a freight train, transit from Tajikistan to Russia, was discovered 91 plastic bundle, in 41 of which was 41 kg of heroin. In the remaining packages was opium weighing 50.5 kg"- said the representative of the press center of the NSS on Friday.
The train from the Tajik city Hozhdent through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan followed to Chelyabinsk.
Criminal case is under investigation.
