Almaty. June 3. Silkroadnews - In 2015, Uzbekistan plans by 5 times increase the supply of its products to the Baltic region, reported the Uzbek news agency (UzTAG) on Wednesday.
"The opening of the Uzbek-Latvian Trade House significantly stepped up deliveries of Uzbek agricultural products in the Baltic region, which over the next 5 years will significantly increase. Only in the last year through the trading house were sent 900 tons of cargo, this year plans to send 4.5 thousand tons", - said Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Transport of Latvia Uldis Reymanis during the international conference "The transport corridor Uzbekistan-Latvia-EU, new Opportunities and Prospects" in Tashkent.
Recall that the current foreign trade of cargo of Uzbekistan and the EU countries most actively implemented through the ports in Riga, Liepaja, Ventspils by transit through Kazakhstan and Russia.
