Uzbekistan plans to export 1.5 billion kWh of electricity to Afghanistan

Almaty. March 18. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan plans to export in 2015, 1.5 billion kilowatts of electricity to Afghanistan, trnsmits the Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
Earlier, the government of Uzbekistan has approved forecast parameters of the balance of production and consumption of electricity in 2015.
Thus, the greatest amount of electricity will be developed in thermal power plants - more than 50.5 billion kWh, while the remaining 5.1 billion kW / h - for hydroelectric power stations. For export will be allocated 1.5 billion kWh of electricity.
