Almaty. January 21. Silkroadnews - GDP growth of Uzbekistan at the end of 2014 was 8.1%, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
According to preliminary data, the State Statistics Committee in 2014, the gross domestic product of Uzbekistan amounted to 144.9 trillion soums ($ 59.6 billion at the exchange rate of the Central Bank), which shows an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period of 2013.
By the end of 2014 the volume of industrial production amounted to 75.2 trillion soums (+ 8.3%), agriculture - 37 trillion soums (+ 6.9%), investment in fixed assets - 33.7 trillion soums (9, 6%), or $ 14.6 billion equivalent (+ 10.9%), construction - 19.8 trillion soums (+ 18.3%), retail trade - 58.6 trillion soums (+ 14.3%).
