Uzbekistan simplified procedure for opening bank accounts

Almaty. September 22. Silkroadnews - The Central Bank (CB) has made changes and additions to the instruction on the accounts opened in banks of Uzbekistan, reported Uzbek news agency (UzTAG).
"Now opening an accounts, banks are prohibited to demand additional documents, other than those specified in the instructions. Earlier, it was possibile to require additional documents in the cases established by law ", - the press service of the Central Bank.
In addition, when you open a correspondent account in the national currency it is no longer required to submit a copy of the certificate of inclusion in the Unified State Register of enterprises and organizations, issued by statistics authorities.
To open a deposit account in the national currency, legal entities that are not business entities, as well as recipients of funds from the budget, should provide the bank document confirming the registration with tax authorities.
From instruction was excluded norm according to which legal entities after opening the main account had the right to open in other banks secondary deposit account in national and foreign currencies, notifying the tax office at the place of their registration.
