Uzbekistan to open logistics centre at Baltic Port of Liepaja
Tashkent. June 9. Silkroadnews – Uzbek companies are to open the Transport and Logistics Centre at Baltic Port of Liepaja in the near future, as UzTAG reports.
“This information first appeared during the international conference in Tashkent. It was dedicated to the main reserves for implementation of food programme in Uzbekistan. The expected stocking capacity of the centre is 1 500 tonnes of freight. Fresh fruits and vegetables destined for European countries are to be transited through that centre”, the Ministry responsible for Agriculture and water resources informed.
