Uzbekistan was invited to the TAPI gas pipeline project

Almaty. June 30. Silkroadnews – President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Trend reports.
“During the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan invited businessmen of Uzbekistan to take part in the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline project (TAPI)”, the report said.
The total length of the gas pipeline is expected to reach 1814 km, including 214km lot across the territory of Turkmenistan, 774km – through Afghanistan, 826km – across the territory of Pakistan to the settlement Fazilka on the border with India. The annual capacity is designed as 33 billion cubic meters.
The negotiations continue with other potential participants in the project.
