Uzbekistan will allocate $10 billion for the development of road infrastructure

Almaty. January 27. Silkroadnews - Uzbekistan has developed a program of development and modernization of industrial infrastructure for 2015-2019, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"It provides concrete measures for the further development of roads and railways, logistics centers and communications. To be implemented over 150 projects worth about $10 billion",- noted in the Programme of Action of the Uzbek government in the short and long term.
Under special control will be the implementation of 13 investment projects for the development and electrification of railway communications, including in the areas of Angren-Pap, Marokand- Karshi, Karshi-Termez Marokand- Bukhara.
Government will also provide construction and reconstruction of 1.8 thousand km sections of the Uzbek national highway, the new bypass roads Karshi, Kokand, Tashkent, Bukhara, Gulistan, consistently upgrade local roads.
