Uzbekistan will establish mass production of T250 car model

Tashkent. September 15. Silkroadnews - "Uzavtosanoat" company started the beginning of the preparatory work for the implementation of the project for the serial production of the new model cars "T250" (Chevrolet Aveo) at the CJSC "GM Uzbekistan", reported Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Today, together with General Motors, which owns the technology and know-how on the model"T250" was determined the structure of technological equipment for production", - stated in the decision of the government.
The government has allowed the company to implement the project without the preparation of a preliminary feasibility study. In this case, "Uzavtosanoat" until the middle of November 2014 must submit for approval to the government of a feasibility study of the project.
Purchase of the equipment will be carried out without holding tenders, by concluding agreements through a global procurement system of General Motors.
