Uzbekistan will introduce legislation defining responsibilities of bloggers

Tashkent. September 2. Silkroadnews - XV plenary session of the Senate approved a series of legislative measures to regulate the activities of bloggers, according to Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"The study of national experience in this field has shown that our legislation does not provide specific commitments to owners of the web sites and web pages, especially bloggers who disseminate public information via the Internet", - said the senator Damir Sidikov.
According to him, the current law provides "legal mechanisms governing bloggers".
