Uzbekistan will invest about $ 200 million in infrastructure of Kandym GPP
Almaty. May 27. Silkroadnews - The Uzbek government will send about $200 million on foreign infrastructure Kandym gas processing plant (GPP), reports UzTAG.
In accordance with the decree, State Joint-Stock Company (SJSC) "Uzbekenergo" before July 1, 2017 will ensure the construction of external power supply, including power transmission lines of 220 kW, including its modernization and expansion. State Joint-Stock Railway Company (JSRC) "Uzbekistan Railways" until October 2015 should implement the construction of the railway transport infrastructure and access roads of Kandym gas processing plant.
Construction of Kandym GPP with a capacity of 8.1 billion cubic meters gas is the largest investment project of "Lukoil" in Uzbekistan. Feasibility study of the project and working documentation for the construction of the plant is developed by Hyundai Engineering.
Top management of "Lukoil" reported that Chinese companies interested in buying 30% of Kandym project.
