According to him, the Uzbek people need peace and tranquility.
To this end, according to Karimov, "our primary objective, we find further development of relations of friendship and mutual understanding with the countries of near and far abroad, strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation and stability in our region".
Recall that in Uzbekistan celebrates Independence Day. The celebration lasts three days - from August 30 to September 1.
